HOURS OF OPERATION

As a designer and a mother of two little girls, I tend to have hours that can be all over the place. However, I do try to keep semi-normal hours for communication so that I can have a little bit of balance in my life. I am typically at my desk Tuesday through Friday. I try to have all weekends, holidays, and special family occasions off.

COMMUNICATION

Communication is key! I want your design to be EXACTLY what you want, and I feel that the only way to achieve this is by working closely with you. I am always available via email. If you would prefer a Skype or Google Hangout chat we can set one up. However, I do want to remind you that I do have two little ones, and I can not be on the phone or in video calls for hours at a time. I limit these calls to 20 or 30 minutes during my standard work hours. If the calls get excessive, I will add an invoice and bill you for the time. You will not get the final product until this invoice is paid. If you see that you will not be available when it is time for me to do your design, please let me know so that we can reschedule!

BOOKING

Booking is so easy, and can honestly be so fun! First you contact me! Then we will start the process of chatting about your project, getting to know each other a little bit, and figuring out exactly what you need. Once we are both clear on your vision and goals, I will invoice you for the deposit, sign agreements, and I will give you a bit of homework (it's not hard I promise) to do. This way we are all set when we begin your design!

DEADLINES/HOMEWORK

With each project I will assign client homework and give you deadlines to complete it. This homework will include the content and images for the pages that I am designing for you. If your design day arrives and you have not met your deadline we will reschedule your project. If your new deadline arrives and you still have not completed your homework, we will not reschedule again. The agreements will be terminated and you will forfeit your deposit.

PAYMENT

I understand that getting a great brand and website done for your business can be pricey! This is why I offer a payment plan when you book with me! You have the option of splitting the total into four scheduled payments. The first payment of 25% is a non refundable deposit that will secure your design date. You can then schedule the remaining three payments. The final payment is due on the day that we begin your brand and website! If you are only purchasing the brand package, your final payment is due before your files will be delivered.

PROOFING & REVISIONS

I have built three major revisions into all of my design packages. My goal is to have quality communication with you along the way. So, that with any revision we are closer to the perfect design. If a project does take more than three revisions there will be an additional $50 charge for each revision (at my discretion) on your final invoice.

I will also allow edits to your website for up to 48 hours beyond the completion date. Beyond this period of time, there will be an hourly service fee for me to go in and change things.

DESIGN CREDIT

Each blog and/or website will include a small credit to Tiffany Kuehl Designs. As long as any design elements created or coded by me are included on the site, this design credit must remain in the footer!

TURNAROUND TIME

Every single project is different, and communication will play a huge part in how long your project will take! When we book your project we will discuss a general timeline. I will keep you updated along the way to let you know if we are still on track for your begin date! Once we begin it could take anywhere from 3 to 10 weeks depending on your project.

UPDATES & FILES

I recommend that you update your blog and/or website at least every 6-12 months. I am happy to help you make these updates as you and your business grow and technology changes! I do not have the space to save all of the files for every single design that I create. I will keep your files for one year free of charge. Beyond that, if you would like me to keep them for maintenance, there will be a $25 fee to store them for another year. If you would like me to do any maintenance in your site, service fees will apply.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

My goal it to make sure that you are absolutely 100% in love with your final project! I will do everything that I possibly can to make sure that you are happy. However, due to the nature of design work no refunds will be issued, no matter the point in the design process. If you choose to terminate your design, you will have a credit with Tiffany Kuehl Designs for the amount paid on the invoice. I also retain the right to terminate the project at my discretion. It takes pretty bad circumstances for me to terminate a working relationship. If we reach that point your deposit will not be refunded nor will you have a remaining credit for my business.

All original designs are protected under the copyright of Tiffany Kuehl Designs. I also have the rights to share project details in my portfolio and on Tiffany Kuehl Designs’ social media accounts unless you have specifically asked me not to release any details.
