The Little Things

I have been seeing the little things link up on blogs over the last couple of weeks and I just kind of love the idea. I mean who couldn't use the joy that you get out of sitting back and just thinking of the little things that you are loving lately, or that make you happy in general. So here I am. This week I am pretty excited to link up with Jess and Ashley to share the little things that have made me happy this week! There are just so many things that are making me happy right now, but I am trying to decide how long I want to make this post. Lol.

One thing that I am LOVING lately is that my Hubby enjoys taking pictures.  Because of him, I have gotten so many pictures lately that I am absolutely in love with.

We take Sydney to story time every week, and I love how he captured Sydney and all of her little friends sitting calmly while they wait. Because you know they all probably moved like half a second later!

I can't thank him enough for always capturing such great moments. Of course some of them are posed like this one, but it doesn't make that moment any less beautiful. I love that he thinks to take these and takes the time to do them as well. For those of you who have noticed that the pictures on this new blog have been way better than all of my others before... It's because I basically hired him to do all pictures for me. Ha!

I am also loving this new short hair after cutting a foot of it off!!!

Thursday my amazing husband and I had a day to ourselves. That is something to be excited in itself. Grandma kept Sydney and we left early. Wednesday Chris told me to call and set up a hair appointment. I had been talking about cutting my hair short this spring and I have been looking at short hair styles on Pinterest non-stop. So with the okay from him  to do it on our day together, I set up an early appointment and we chopped it off. After the appointment we went out to lunch and did some shopping. We had probably 8 hours all to ourselves and it was so fun. Plus this is so extremely rare for us. I came home expecting Sydney to run to me and jump into my arms. Nope, she calmly just said hi from Gramdma's lap. Little terd!

So overall I would say this last week or so has been amazing. I have loved the little moments that my family has been sharing. I am loving the little things that make me smile this week!
